K-content production company MooAm announced on December 2 that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with SC Ventures, the venture arm of Standard Chartered Bank. This agreement aims to discover and protect story copyrights in the global creative environment while establishing a bridge between creators and investors.
At the U-KNOCK held in Singapore in September 2024, MooAm introduced ‘Dophink,’ a service for discovering and curating content IPs. Both companies identified synergies between ‘Project Engram’ and ‘Dophink,’ which are set to launch in Singapore in 2025, and plan to explore various ways to strengthen the global creative ecosystem.
SC Ventures' ‘Project Engram’ is an innovative technology platform that enables creators to showcase their works and secure funding. The platform is designed to maximize the value of intellectual property (IP) in the digital economy, allowing investors to tokenize IP and generate revenue.
‘Project Engram’ is scheduled to launch in early 2025 in Singapore, with plans to expand globally to target IP owners and investors.
Through this collaboration with SC Ventures, MooAm plans to utilize ‘Dophink’ to introduce Korea’s hidden content IPs to the global market. The company expects to establish itself as a competitive service in the global content market.
