SEOUL, South Korea — 29 July 2025

K‑content studio MooAm announced today that its travel‑romance reality series Be My K Guide: Japan‑Korea Edition has been named a finalist in the Variety & Entertainment category of the 2025 New Media Content Awards, hosted by the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA).

The official awards, presented at Broadcast Worldwide (BCWW), honour outstanding OTT productions. Six programme prizes and two special awards will be conferred across five genres. In Variety, Be My K Guide will contend with CJ ENM’s hit Transit Love and Studio Waffle’s Online Parenting King.

Cross‑Border Love Story Resonating with the Millennial Generation

The series follows a Korean male guide and a Japanese female traveller on a three‑night, four‑day tour of Korea, blending cityscapes and cultural discovery with romance.

Multi‑lingual host Lee Hong‑gi (FT Island) fronts the show, joined by panelists Kenta (Produce 101), Hina and Yujeong of LIGHTSUM, and YouTube couple Yuka & Seung‑chan (Yuka Channel).

Be My K Guide premiered simultaneously on Lemino (NTT DOCOMO) and Korean services Watcha and Wavve, sparking vibrant fan engagement in both countries.

Format Expansion Under Negotiation

MooAm is in talks with producers in Thailand and Taiwan to develop local versions, combining country‑specific dating culture with its AI‑based location and editing workflow.
