▶ From voices to faces — AI MV “BUCKET HAT” points to new possibilities in K-Pop
▶ First AI production to present a documented compliance workflow
▶ Global vote decides public release of the video by Big Ocean × MooAm

Seoul, 9 July 2025 — Big Ocean, the K-Pop idol group formed by Deaf members, and AI-content studio MooAm (CEO: Harry Hyun) premiered the AI music video “BUCKET HAT” at the ITU “AI for Good” Summit in Switzerland, marking the first worldwide public screening of an AI-driven K-Pop MV.
MooAm oversaw concept, direction, and AI-technology integration for the single “BUCKET HAT.” Using a hybrid workflow, the team combined live-action footage of choreography and Korean Sign Language with AI-generated backgrounds, lighting, facial expressions, and visual effects to enhance overall quality.
For Big Ocean, AI voice-synthesis reproduced realistic emotion and timbre from specially trained speech data, while AI VFX visualised urban moods, facial nuances, colour palettes, and core K-Pop aesthetics.
The project demonstrates that an AI-integrated pipeline can preserve the creator’s vision and lower production costs. From the planning stage, MooAm applied strict legal and ethical safeguards: prompts were screened to avoid generating imagery resembling real celebrities or brands, establishing the industry’s first documented AI-production compliance case.
“MooAm believes AI can open opportunities rather than replace people,” the studio stated. “We will continue ethical exploration and creative experimentation to build a sustainable AI-content ecosystem.”
A public poll opened on 9 July via Big Ocean’s official channels. If a majority votes in favour, the full “BUCKET HAT” music video will be released online.
