The feature film "What We Saw" has achieved a remarkable triple crown by being officially selected for three prestigious domestic and international film festivals: the Kaohsiung Film Festival in Taiwan, the Hong Kong Lesbian & Gay Film Festival (HKLGFF), and the 2026 Seoul International Pride Film Festival.

The original IP film "What We Saw" by MooAm (CEO and Director Harry Hyun), a studio that has consistently built differentiated original stories, was officially selected for the non-competitive sections of the 2026 Kaohsiung Film Festival and HKLGFF 2026. Following these international achievements, it was selected for the 'Korea Pride Feature' section at the 2026 Seoul International Pride Film Festival (SIPFF), Korea's representative film festival. Even before its official release, the film has been recognized for its cinematic quality and originality on both major Asian festival stages and domestic platforms.

"What We Saw" delivers a hard-hitting look at a student’s tragic death, examining the fallout through the eyes of an adult and a boy reduced to mere statistics by an unfeeling system. The film explores the tragic irony of a teacher whose good intentions are warped by survival anxiety and blind faith in protocol, resulting in a fatal misjudgment that silences the boy's cries for help. Featuring an unconventional and highly immersive two-part structure, the story shifts from the adult's point of view in the first half to reconstructing the exact same events through the boy's memory in the second. Enhanced by MooAm’s advanced AI VFX in post-production, the film offers a visually and emotionally gripping cinematic experience.

The intense chemistry between the two lead actors driving the narrative is also drawing attention. Actor Sung-hyun Baek takes on the role of Mujin, a teacher who ignored his student's death, delivering a weighty portrayal of complex psychological changes and guilt. The role of Soyou, the boy Mujin encounters in his remaining memories, is played by rookie actor Seong Ha Shin, who leaves a strong impression by delicately expressing precarious yet sorrowful emotions.

As the film will be presented to domestic audiences for the first time through this year's Seoul International Pride Film Festival, a special Guest Visit (GV) session has been arranged. "What We Saw" will be screened twice at CGV Piccadilly 1958: on Saturday, November 7 at 8:50 PM (Screen 4) and Monday, November 9 at 9:45 PM (Screen 1). In particular, the first screening on November 7 will feature a GV attended by director Harry Hyun and lead actors Sung-hyun Baek and Seong Ha Shin, who will directly share in-depth stories behind the film. Ticket reservations for the screenings will open on October 22 via the official CGV website and app.

Meanwhile, production company MooAm is producing a wide spectrum of works based on its unique original IP planning capabilities and generative AI technology. The studio is awaiting the release of the AI hybrid series "Genfluencer," which was officially invited to the Rendez-vous section at the Cannes International Series Festival, and recently wrapped production on its upcoming original feature film "The Unchangeable."

Gaining significant attention with calls from three domestic and international film festivals, the film "What We Saw" is scheduled to meet audiences through an official theatrical release in 2027.
