K-content production company MooAm has announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with SC Ventures, the venture arm of Standard Chartered Bank, on December 2nd. This agreement aims to explore and protect story copyrights in the global creative environment, and to establish connections between creators and investors.
In September at the U-KNOCK in Singapore, MooAm showcased 'Dophink', a service for discovering and curating content IPs. Both parties have identified synergies between 'Project Engram' and 'Dophink', which are expected to be launched in Singapore in 2025, and plan to explore various ways to strengthen the global creative ecosystem.
SC Ventures' 'Project Engram' is a new technological platform that supports creators in showcasing their works and raising funds. The platform is designed to maximize the value of intellectual property (IP) in the digital economy and allows investors to tokenize intellectual property for profit generation.
'Project Engram' is scheduled to launch in early 2025 in Singapore, with plans to expand to IP and investors globally.
MooAm stated, "Through our collaboration with SC Ventures, we plan to use 'Dophink' to introduce Korea’s hidden content IPs to the global market, expecting to establish a competitive service in the global content market."
