Original IP studio MooAm (CEO Harry Hyun) has officially commenced production on its new feature film, "The Unchangeable", with principal photography kicking off on September 21. Written and directed by Harry Hyun, the film stars An Woo-yeon, Cha Jung-won, Ko Yoon-bin, Ko Han-min, and Kim Ha-ram, aiming for a theatrical release in 2027.

"The Unchangeable" is an original IP developed in-house by MooAm. The story follows a young man who can transform into anything (played by An Woo-yeon) and an 800-year-old Human-Tree (played by Cha Jung-won) who cross paths at a Sacred Shrine where all transformation halts. Targeted primarily at audiences in their twenties, the film seamlessly blends fantasy action centered on animal shapeshifting with an emotional romance between the two leads.

To maximize scale within a targeted production budget, the project captures live physical performances and mime by the actors, which are then integrated with generative AI video technology to realistically realize continuous animal morphing sequences and the colossal Sacred Tree on screen.

An Woo-yeon stars as Lee Hwan, a rare "Shape-shifter" capable of turning into any entity, bringing nuanced physicality to each transformation while portraying deep emotional changes.

Cha Jung-won plays Jin Seo-rim, an 800-year-old Human-Tree and shaman, embodying the mystical and resilient nature of an ancient spirit. This project marks a reunion for An Woo-yeon, Cha Jung-won, and director Harry Hyun following their previous collaboration on "Crypto Man".

Ko Yoon-bin portrays Cheon Bi-young, the chairperson and head researcher of BY Group, creating tense conflict with Lee Hwan through a character driven by ambition and authority.

Ko Han-min takes on the role of Oh Ki-cheol, an ex-detective turned private investigator searching for his missing daughter, conveying the desperate paternal love of a relentless father.

Child actress Kim Ha-ram was cast as Jjae-kkak-i after delivering a standout audition against 130 competitors.

"I wanted to demonstrate the boundless scale of imagination we can achieve even within a constrained production budget," said director Harry Hyun. "By combining physical performance and mime with AI-driven post-production, our goal is to render continuous animal transformations and a grand Sacred Tree completely natural on a live-action screen."

MooAm is an IP studio dedicated to conceiving, developing, and producing original content, having previously produced "Crypto Man" as well as "Genfluencer", which was officially selected for the Rendez-vous section at the 9th Cannes International Series Festival (CANNESERIES). Leveraging its specialized AI feature production pipeline, MooAm continues to bring distinctive stories and compelling characters to the screen.

"The Unchangeable" is scheduled for release in 2027.
