Actress Bae Yoon-kyung fulfilled her official schedule for the '9th Cannes International Series Festival'.

According to her agency Prain TPC on the 25th, actress Bae Yoon-kyung attended the '9th Cannes International Series Festival' (Canneseries) held in Cannes, France on the 24th (local time) representing the AI hybrid feature film Genfluencer.

Marking its 9th edition this year, 'Canneseries' is an event dedicated to dramas and series from around the world. Genfluencer, starring Bae Yoon-kyung, was officially invited to the non-competitive 'Rendez-vous' section.

Bae Yoon-kyung met with local audiences while carrying out various official schedules of 'Canneseries', including press interviews, stage greetings, GVs (Guest Visits), and the pink carpet. For the pink carpet, which was her final schedule, she appeared in a pink dress, captivating the eyes of fans and the press.

An agency representative stated, "Bae Yoon-kyung garnered the attention of global media by candidly sharing stories about the work and her character during the press interview. Furthermore, she communicated with the audience and had in-depth discussions about the work during the stage greeting and GV held prior to the world premiere screening."

Meanwhile, Genfluencer is a psychological suspense film depicting the story that unfolds when the protagonist Lee Jin, who dreamed of becoming an idol but suffered a devastating accident, connects to the 'Genfluencer' system to reincarnate as the K-pop idol 'Gina'. Bae Yoon-kyung took on a double role, playing both Lee Jin, a singer-songwriter with inner wounds, and Gina, a perfectly designed AI.
