Director Harry Hyun’s follow-up to Crypto Man enters production

Seoul, Republic of Korea — 12 August 2025 — K-content studio MooAm today confirmed production of the feature-length psychological suspense film What We Saw, set in a near-future society where AI-based emotion analysis is commonplace. The story re-assembles the truth behind a boy’s death through two mutually conflicting memories.
MooAm’s previous title Crypto Man portrayed the collapse of social trust during the Terra-LUNA crash. The company noted that its focus on timely, issue-driven narratives will continue with What We Saw.
Casting — Byun Hun stars as Soyu, a boy with a complex inner life. Baek Sung-hyun plays Mujin, a teacher whose relationship with Soyu generates a taut undercurrent of tension. The ensemble also includes Im Ki-hong, Min Sung-wook, and So Hee-jung.
Recognised for integrating AI across development and production, MooAm has screened at Canneseries (AI content), won the Grand Prize at the CGV AI Film Contest, and received Korea’s Minister of Science and ICT Award.
Principal photography is slated to begin in late August, with domestic and international release planned for the first half of next year.
