Joint production and co-investment collaboration based on AI video technology takes shape
Discussions underway on linkage with Taiwan's National Development Fund and international co-investment programs
Strategic cooperation officially launched to drive expansion into Chinese-speaking and global markets
MooAm (CEO: Harry Hyun), a Korea-based AI content production company, has joined forces with the Taiwan Creative Content Agency (TAICCA), Taiwan's leading authority on cultural content, to accelerate the expansion of the global AI content ecosystem.
MooAm announced that it has entered into substantive discussions with TAICCA on AI content collaboration aimed at strengthening global infrastructure and overseas business capabilities, with both parties expressing commitment to pursuing joint production of screen content. The partnership is a strategic move to combine MooAm's distinctive AI video production expertise with Taiwan's robust capital base and infrastructure, targeting both Chinese-speaking and global markets simultaneously.
Through these discussions, both sides agreed to formalize co-investment and production cooperation for screen content and to establish a strategic roadmap for entering global markets. The collaboration is designed to go beyond simple technology exchange, with plans to advance content industry development in both countries through the execution of substantive AI-driven projects.
TAICCA is a cultural content promotion and development agency under Taiwan's Ministry of Culture, providing comprehensive support across creative industries including film, television, games, and animation. Through initiatives such as the National Development Fund and the Taiwan International Co-production Program 2.0 (TICP 2.0), TAICCA serves as a key institution advancing strong investment and support policies to expand Taiwan content's global reach.
MooAm and TAICCA have been exchanging insights on their respective production infrastructure and investment track records, exploring approaches to next-generation content production and support policy development through the integration of AI technology. TAICCA expressed strong interest in MooAm's AI video production know-how and its track record on the global stage, including four consecutive selections at Canneseries, and noted high expectations for applying these capabilities to elevate the added value of Taiwan's content industry.
A TAICCA representative stated, "Korea's AI capabilities and MooAm's creative production approach represent highly compelling strengths in the global market. We look forward to building genuinely mutually beneficial projects with MooAm by actively leveraging Taiwan's National Development Fund and international co-production programs."
Taiwan's content market has seen rapid growth in digital platforms and streaming, attracting capital on a massive scale annually. The market's strong appetite for Korean IP, combined with its proactive embrace of AI and virtual production (VFX) technologies, makes it an ideal environment for MooAm's AI-driven content.
Harry Hyun, CEO and Director of MooAm, remarked, "Taiwan is a strategically vital gateway connecting the Chinese-speaking world and Southeast Asia, and a region with tremendous market potential. Through close collaboration with TAICCA, we will work to establish meaningful technical touchpoints with local companies and deliver tangible results, including new AI-driven projects and participation in global co-productions."
He added, "Under the shared goal of advancing the content industry, we will maintain a close collaborative relationship with TAICCA and create success stories that demonstrate MooAm's AI production capabilities on the global stage."
MooAm is a pioneering AI content company recognized for both its technological excellence and artistic vision, having published a field guide to AI video production and received the Minister's Award from the Ministry of Science and ICT. This new partnership with Taiwan is expected to further accelerate MooAm's efforts to build a global AI video ecosystem.
